Cheryl Ann Cree

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Cheryl Cree, was released from her earthly bonds to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, on March 30th, 2026 at the age of 75. Cheryl was born in Orange County, California on July 28, 1950 to Robert and Dorothy Feazel. She met and married Michael Cree and lovingly raised 4 children, who blessed her with 7 grandchildren.

Cheryl's love of the Lord never wavered even in the worst of times. She was able to find beauty in the simplest things and thrived on bringing joy and laughter to others. Cheryl was loving, kind, and generous even if she did not have much to give. 

She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her.

Cheryl is survived by her sister, Linda (Matt) Darlington; son, Sean (Kimberly) Cree who brought forth grandchildren, Justin (Kara) Cree, Alexandria Cree and Savana Cree; son, Timothy (Fawna) Cree; son, James (Elizabeth) Cree, who brought forth grandchildren, Vera Cree, Deborah Cree and Velma Cree; daughter, Erin (Ralph Gonterman) Cree, who brought forth grandson, Benjamin Gonterman.

Cheryl's smile and infectious laughter will be sorely missed in a world that seems darker now but our consolation is knowing that she is side by side with her parents walking in heaven with the Lord. We all love you dearly Mom, may you rest in Peace.

Her memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Indiana Funeral Care West, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224, with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time.
