Charles Edward Foster Jr.

Charles Edward Foster Jr., 63, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at home with family by his side.

He was born Thursday, November 19, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Charles E. Foster Sr. and Shirley A. (Morris) Danford.

Charles attended and graduated from Harry E. Wood in Indianapolis, which later closed for good. Everyone loved him there and he still had contact with several lifelong friends from there. Charles enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 1977 and was discharged in 1992. He taught classes in the medical division in the Navy.

Charles is survived by his mother, Shirley Danford; sister, Rita Smith; brother, Donald Foster; children, Shaun Foster (Jaclyn), Brandy Foster (Javier); five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and husband, Jason Lee Foster.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Foster Sr., and sisters, Pam Collins, and Dianna Newton.

Visitation is Friday, June 16, 2023, 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm.
