Charles Ray Fancher Sr. “Butch” went to meet his lord and savior May 29, 2025 at his home. Born March 11, 1941 to Raymond and Florence Fancher, he was one of fifteen children. Butch grew up on the Westside in Fleming Gardens. He loved riding motorcycles, mules, horses and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He served his Country in the Army, after which he met and married Judith C. Carman of Kentucky and they started their family. They had two sons, Charles Ray Fancher Jr. and James Vincent Fancher. Butch and Judy were married 55 years upon her death in 2023. Butch retired from Olin Brass and enjoyed trail riding trips with his good friend Billy Rose and yard selling.
He leaves behind two children, three grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. He will be laid to rest next to his late wife in Kentucky.
