It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest father, Charles Gregory Clevenger, on 4 September 2026, at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Linda Clevenger. He was raised in Rushville Indiana, where he met his wife in grade school, raised his two children, met many lifelong friends, and shaped some of his most cherished memories. He was a member of Main Street Christian Church and could be often found at the Elks Club or the Elks Club Golf Course. His passions were fly fishing, tying his own flies, woodworking, and carving. He would spend hours in his workshop, and his finished products brought so much pride. Living on Geist Reservoir provided him with a daily opportunity to fly fish and instill that love in his grandchildren when they were young. For his family, life will never be the same without his endearing love and strength. He was a friend, a father, a grandfather, a brother, but most of all, a guiding light in our lives. We only hope to find solace and peace that he is together again with the love of his life. He is survived by his daughter Michelle (John) Harrison; son Scott Clevenger; and his grandchildren, Brandon Harrison, Lindsay Harrison, Charlie Clevenger, Harry Clevenger, Simon Clevenger, Hugh Clevenger, and Emma Clevenger. He is also survived by his brother Lance (Fran) Clevenger, and sister Susan (Chuck) Jennings.
