Charles Albert Bishop

Charles Albert Bishop, 86, of Connersville, Indiana. passed away after a short battle with cancer on May 28, 2026. Born on December 21, 1939, in Oldenburg, Indiana, Charles was the beloved son of Albert and Florence Bishop. Throughout his life, he was known for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, dedication, faith.

After a short Career in the U.S. Airforce where he was honorably discharged in June of 1959. Charles worked as an engineer for 33 years Ford/Visteon and he took great pride in his accomplishments. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Riley. He enjoyed working in his yard and was huge fan of DIY projects. Above all, Charles cherished time spent with family and friends. He will be remembered for his faith, compassion, and generosity.

Charles is survived by his wife, Patty (Milbourn); daughter, Melissa Lambuth; grandsons, Jordan Lambuth, Cody and Chase Bishop; daughter in law, Laura.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Florence and his son, Craig A. Bishop.

Per his request, there will not be a funeral. His ashes will be buried at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
