Chad fought long and hard for 19 years, the onset of congestive heart failure. He was the definition of a warrior and hero. He set such an amazing example for everyone he knew. So polite, kind, sociable, and easy to talk to. He made friends everywhere he went. He loved our Lord Jesus Christ. We’re confident that he’s in heaven now hanging out with all his loved ones. His hope was to create a support group for others stricken with heart disease and their families. Chad always volunteered at IU Health to speak to patients and their families about his experience with the LVAD. Chad was a beacon of hope and love. God bless to all his prayer warriors. Chad experienced miracle after miracle. He couldn’t have survived this journey without all of you.
