Cecelia Laverne Babcock was tragically taken from us on Monday, April 13th 2020. She was born on October 14th, 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She resided in Greenwood for the last 12 years. She worked at Angie's list/Home Advisor in Indianapolis for the last 7 years.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Terry Babcock of 27 years. They shared a daughter together; Victoria Line. Cecelia is also preceded in death by her mother Florence Lawrence, father James Cooper and her sister Denise Miles. Cecelia spent the last 6 years with her fiancé Andy Sutt. They meant the world to each other. They had plans to get married and spend the rest of lives together. But, time was cut far too short.
Cecelia is survived by her stepfather Jim Lawrence, fiancé Andy Sutt, daughter Victoria Line and son-in-law Nick Line, stepdaughter Hannah Sutt, siblings Thomas Scott Cooper, Mark Cooper and Laurail Scriff. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sidney, Reese, Nicole and Kinsey Line.
Cecelia was the perfect example of a kind soul. She would fight for you, lift your spirits, and help you in any way possible. She was a lover of dogs, blues music and her family and friends. There are so many family members, friends and co-workers that will be missing her smile and kind heart every day.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic currently happening, funeral arrangements for such a large crowd are not available right now. We will be having a celebration of life memorial for Cecelia. We are hopeful to celebrate Cecelia in June, if it is safe and social distancing is over. Cecelia's family members will notify everyone when a date has been set.
