Carroll Winston Walker Jr.

Carroll Winston Walker Jr., 64, of Indianapolis passed away November 27, 2024, at Roudebush VA Medical Center. He was born May 25, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Carol Winston Walker Sr. and Jewell Helen Lillard. 

Carroll was an honorable man of God who loved studying the Bible. The Bible was his favorite book, he would read or listen to scriptures daily, and he also enjoyed witnessing and handing out Bible tracts. His last church membership was with Fervent Prayer Church in Indianapolis, IN, where he moved his family in 1993. His favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 

Carroll was a wonderful and loving husband to his wife of 41 years, Tina A. Walker. He loved his family and being a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, and had a large extended family that he cherished as well. Carroll had many friends, and enjoyed collecting hats, fishing, playing drums, keyboards and guitars. He also liked repairing things, especially for others. He also enjoyed cooking chili and making people laugh. 

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth Walker, and sister, Vernetta Reese. 

Carroll leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Tina A. Walker; sons, Jurrell (Sharee) Walker and Jason (Marquitta Blachard-Walker) Walker; grandchildren, Dabrion, Maya, Jasmine, Uriah, Jalaliyah, Zarriah, Tre'Shaun, Heavenlee, and Jason Walker; step grandchildren, Tyquan Blanchard, Samora Williams, and Davionna Williams; brothers, Steve L. (Deborah) Lillard, and Bryon K. (Cheryl) Walker; sisters, Glenda R. Walker, Lisa (Lonnie) Johnson, and Kellie J. (Rayon) Clark; many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and extended family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, IN. Burial will be held at a later date at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.
