Carol Joan Worton

Carol married Fred Worton on June 15, 1957 and became parents to daughters Darla Worton-Butche, Susan Yates and Nancy Geary.

Carol worked for many years as a sales associate for Blocks/Lazarus/Macy's, retiring from both Lazarus and Macy's. 

She loved traveling to Las Vegas and the Indiana casinos.  She was an avid college basketball fan with Butler and Duke being her favorite teams.  She also took an interest in the Indianapolis Colts.  Her favorite activity was feeding the birds and watching them while taking in the sun in her backyard. 

Carol was preceded in death by her father Wallace (1967), her husband Fred (1992) and her mother Mabel (1994).

Carol is survived by her three daughters Darla, Susan and Nancy as well as sons-in-law Chuck Butche and Bryce Yates.  She is also survived by two granddaughters Amanda Allen and Lauren Rainer as well as one great-granddaughter Caralynn Allen.

Carol chose cremation.  Therefore no service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carol's memory to Indiana Childrens Wish Fund or the Hamilton County Humane Society.
