Carl W. Wyatt passed peacefully with his daughter, Carla, and granddaughter, Zoe, by his side at 12:17 a.m. on September 6, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved with all his heart and always put his family first.
Carl was born in Lee County, Virginia, on May 11, 1938. He later moved to Noblesville, Indiana, where he attended Noblesville High School (Class of 1957). It was in Noblesville that he met the love of his life, Madeline, at the Diana Theater where she worked.
Carl proudly served his country as an Air Force Police Officer stationed in France. After returning home, he worked as a supervisor at Firestone and later as a school bus driver for Noblesville and HSE schools until his retirement. He was also a proud member of the Free Masons.
Outside of work, Carl found joy in antiquing and researching his family’s genealogy. He loved classic cars, old western movies, and—above all else—spending time with his family.
Carl is preceded in death by his father, Carl Wyatt, his mother, Geneva Wyatt, and his brothers, Harold Wyatt and Curtis Wyatt. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Madeline Wyatt; his son, Mike Wyatt; his daughter, Carla Wyatt Everhart; his grandchildren, Michael Wyatt, Zoe (Eamonn) Welch, and Ian (Daisy Cochran) Everhart; his nephew, Jim Wyatt; his niece, Michele (Kevin Goode) Williamson; and his great-grandchildren, Keefer Wyatt, River Wyatt, and Aurora Everhart, as well as many other beloved family members whose lives he touched deeply.
Carl’s love, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be dearly missed by all.
