Byron Misura

Byron was born on December 30, 1938 in Peoria, Illinois to Ruth Sturgeon. Unfortunately, due to financial instability Byron was placed into a Catholic orphanage from the age of six to ten years old. The Catholic Church had a wonderful influence on him throughout his life.

Byron was adopted by Michael & Mary Misura.

He went on to join the Navy at the young age of 18. After returning to Chicago, he met the love of his life, Suedel Hurt. They were married on January 26, 1960 in Chicago. Their marriage produce three children; David, Donna & Diana.

Suedel passed away from a long illness in 2016. Byron visited her gravesite on a daily basis -missing her everyday. His one wish was to join her in heaven. God has granted Byron’s wishes on his passing August 3, 2025.
