Bruce Glick

August 7, 1949 — March 28, 2023

Indianapolis

Bruce Allen Glick, 73y, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 28, 2023 after a long fight with several health conditions.

Bruce was born on August 7, 1949 to Herbert and Barbara Glick in Michigan City, IN. After Bruce graduated from high school in 1967, he went on to study data entry and engineering as a Marine in the United States Armed Forces, followed by business finance at Purdue North Central University.

Bruce married his high school sweetheart, Monnie Sexton, in 1968 and together they had two sons, Steven P. and Sean C. Glick and a daughter, Stacie N. Anderson.

Bruce loved a family function! His favorite activity was getting everyone together at his house for “lazing in the backyard” (summer cookouts) and holiday meals or just gathered for movie night, hunkered down with blankets and tin-roof sundaes!

In 2014, Bruce retired and let Monnie drag him all over the globe traveling. Though he always gave some small protest, it was most certainly his second favorite pastime.

Bruce was predeceased by his wife, Monnie U. (Sexton), his parents, Herbert and Barbara, and his brother Bryon Glick. He is survived by his three children, daughter-in-law Pamela Graves, son-in-law Tony Anderson, grandson Gaige L. Anderson, granddaughter Kaitlyn L. Anderson, great-granddaughter Sophia L. Anderson, sister Chrystal Brown (husband Allen), brother David Glick (wife Sylvia), and many beloved nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Bruce in Laporte, IN on Saturday, April 15th at 2pm-6pm at the home of his sister, Chrystal Brown and husband Allen. For address or directions, please contact Stacie at (317) 437-2035.
