Britt Winebar, 65, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away surrounded by family on July 27, 2026. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on August 19, 1960, Britt later learned his Business degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and built his career with State Farm and Kroger Companies. He was known for his work ethic and ability to connect with colleagues.
He is survived by his children, Brittany Winebar, Kyle Winebar (Leah), and Carolyn Winebar; his former wife, Barbara Winebar; and his grandchildren, Flavian Winebar and Elinor Winebar. He was especially proud of his children and enjoyed watching them grow and achieve their own successes.
Outside of work, Britt was a lifelong fan of The Ohio State University and shared his enthusiasm for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway by creating the annual tradition of "Dad's Day" at Carb Day—a day his children looked forward to each year. He was known for preparing hearty breakfasts and creating memorable experiences during the Christmas season that will be passed down for generations. Britt was an avid dog lover and happily took on the title of “Grandpappy” to his children’s dogs, always ready for a sleepover and making sure they had a few extra treats.
A Friends & Family Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather to remember Britt and share stories from his life.
In lieu of gifts, your presence at the celebration is appreciated.
