Brenda May Charles

Brenda May Charles passed away July 14, 2020 in the company of her 2 daughters. She was born on April 1, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She is survived by daughters, Amanda Baker and Kristen Hicks (Jake); sisters, Christina (Beth Dine), Anita, Jannell Spurlin; 5 grandchildren, Kyleigh, Nathen, Breyanna, Keith II, and Keegan.
Brenda loved the beach and all things Harley Davidson. She loved cooking (many of her jobs were in food service) and sharing her cooking with loved ones.
Brenda fought to beat lung cancer this year. She planned to retire on the beach this year in Florida so her grandchildren and family could come visit her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Janet L., and William R. Spurlin; older brother, William (Bill) R. Spurlin, II.; and her beloved son Gregory William Baker.
She will be missed by all and forever cherished in the hearts of her family.
Visitation with a memorial service to follow will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care/Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143.
