Brandon Joseph Bowling, born in Salem, Indiana, on January 12, 1991, passed away peacefully in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 18, 2026. He was 35 years old.

Brandon’s life began amidst the warmth of a loving family, and he maintained that spirit of devotion and kindness throughout his life. Brandon's journey was shaped and enriched by the strong bonds he shared with his family—a support system that encouraged him through life’s challenges and celebrated his many achievements.

Brandon is remembered by his estranged father, Marshall Bowling; his estranged brother, Benjamin Bowling; and his sister, Whitney Bowling. He also held a special place in the hearts of his nieces: Breanna Bowling, Candy Jo Bowling, and Sarah Bowling, for whom he was both a mentor and a friend. His devotion extended to his grandparents, David and Mary Easter, whose wisdom and love guided him from a young age as they helped raise him.

Brandon is survived by his uncles, Terry (Shelly) Easter, Allen Easter, William Easter, great uncles, David Engelking, and Steve Engelking, as well as his great aunts, Connie Satterwhite, Becky Powell, and Kelly Engelking, all who played important roles throughout his life. Their collective love and presence enriched Brandon's days and ensured his home was always filled with support and camaraderie.

In remembering Brandon, we must also honor those who preceded him in death and now welcome him with open arms: his beloved mother, Candice Jo Bowling; his Grandma Sweeny; his aunt, Missy Bowling; his great Grandma and Grandpa Easter; his great uncle, Mike Engelking; great uncle, Zane Powell, great aunt, Nancy Engelking, great aunt, Kathy Engelking and his great aunt, Linda Easter.

Throughout his 35 years, Brandon had many passions. He was a history buff and especially loved WWII war ships. He also enjoyed the history of the Titanic and steam engines, his favorite being Big Boy No. 4014 which regularly travels across the United States on public exhibition tours to let visitors see the historic engine up close. He was also a gamer, mostly playing racing games. He was a big fan of the late Dale Earnhardt. He was a superfan of the band, Sabaton and was able to see them in 2024 in Evansville, Indiana.

Brandon was born with Alagille Syndrome, a genetic disorder and was the oldest living person at the time with this condition.

Brandon’s memory will continue to inspire those who survive him, reminding us all to treasure every moment and to value the bonds we form. His legacy of compassion, integrity, and warmth lives on in his family and friends, and the impact of his presence will echo for years to come.

May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those in whose hearts his memory will forever remain.
