Bobby Lee Alexander Jr.

Bobby Lee Alexander Jr., 61, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 at his home.

Bobby was born on July 23, 1962 to Bob Alexander and Beverly Prater in San Diego, California.

He graduated from N.B. Forrest High School in 1980. He married Shelley on April 27, 1985 and was married until her passing in December 2023.  He worked as a Elevator Technician at AMCO and KONE.

Bobby is survived by his children, Tyler Alexander and his wife Lexi, Christine Grondziak and her husband Duane; mother, Beverly Prater; brother, Robert Alexander and his wife Susan; sisters Valerie Alexander and her husband Ralph, Marie Smith and her husband Carl and many nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shelley Alexander and father, Bob Alexander.

Being a Navy dependent he traveled to many places in the United States including California, Charleston, South Carolina, Hawaii, Philadelphia and Jacksonville, Florida where he met his wife. They then moved to Indianapolis. Bobby loved his Harley and Corvettes. He always cheered on his favorite teams, Colts, Raiders, and Florida Gators. 

Visitation is Friday, February 9, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Funeral service will begin at noon. Burial to immediately follow at Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
