Beverly Jean Wright, née Martin, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 31, 1930, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Beverly lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and heartfelt service to her community.

Beverly retired from Herff Jones where she devoted her career as a jewelry supervisor, a role in which she demonstrated meticulous care and an eye for detail. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she took great pride in her longstanding commitment to the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Her years of devoted service in these organizations stood as a testament to her respect for and support of those who served their country.

Throughout her life, Beverly was blessed with the love of her family, though she had no children of her own. She cherished and cared deeply for her stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who brought joy and meaning to her days. She is survived by her stepson, Richard McQuinn, and stepdaughter, Linda Orkin (McQuinn), along with many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Beverly’s journey was also marked by significant losses. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Martin; her mother, Mary Martin (Hunter); and her brothers Bob Martin and Fred Martin. She experienced the sorrow of losing her first husband, Tom McQuinn, and her second husband, Russel Wright, both of whom passed before her. Additionally, her other stepchildren Johnny, Jimmy, and Stephen McQuinn preceded her in death.

Beverly Jean Wright’s life was a quiet yet profound example of devotion to family and community. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering dedication. Her gentle spirit and steadfast support will remain dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
