Betty Ritzman

Betty Lou Ritzman, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 31st, 2023.

She was born in Shelbyville, IN to Everett and Florence (Schemersheim) Bowers on October 14th, 1932. She was one of seven children, having three brothers and three sisters. She graduated in 1962 from Indiana Business College. She then worked at General Accident Insurance for 26 years. Betty also worked part-time at LS Ayres.

Betty went on to have two children herself, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. She enjoyed reading and growing roses, but her passions also included ballroom dancing, which she excelled at. She also enjoyed keeping up her personal appearance and carrying herself to the highest standard.

Betty Lou Ritzman will be deeply missed.

There will be a graveside service at St. Paul Episcopal Church on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023 at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Paul Episcopal Church in Betty's memory.
