**********Corrected Obituary**********

On Sunday, May 29th, 2022 at the young age of 91, our family lost its biggest cheerleader, Betty Jean Mitch (Snider). She passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness. She was born in Plymouth on June 24th, 1930 and graduated from Huntertown high school. She married Jack L. Mitch Sr. on April 11th, 1952 in Fort Wayne, IN. She is survived by her children Michelle Campbell (David) Nashville, TN, Jack (Kim) Upland, IN, and Sherry Reckley (Tim Pittenger) Fishers, IN. 13 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and Siblings Joann Dillman Newark, OH and Jake Snider(Nadine) Huntertown, IN and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. She was proceeded in death by her husband Jack L. Mitch Sr. (1999) and parents Howard and Mary Snider and Brothers Don and Verlie, and sisters Viola, Mildred, and Donna.

Her first job was dipping chocolates at Wayne Candies in Fort Wayne and she later owned and operated Albany Dry Cleaners for many years with her husband Jack. She eventually retired from Mitch Dental Lab in Muncie in 2000. Betty loved to travel, eating out (her favorite course being dessert), playing cards, playing bingo with her friends, going to the casinos to play slots with her sisters, and her many fishing trips with her sisters and their families. She spent lots of time watching and supporting her Grandchildren at their sporting events, but her greatest passion was probably watching sports of any sorts. She was a joy to be around, spreading her bright beautiful smile wherever she went. She will be greatly missed, gone but never forgotten… In lieu of a funeral service, there will be a celebration of life at a later date. Online condolences can be made at Indianafuneralcare.com.
