Indianapolis

Benjamin Mark Myers, 41, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on June 16, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on March 8, 1984, in Findlay, Ohio, Benjamin was the beloved son of Mark and Faith (Christner) Myers. He was a 2002 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, earning his bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Benjamin was deeply curious and loved to learn, and was passionate about his convictions. He enjoyed camping under open skies, motorcycle road trips, book and story audio recording in his home studio, experimenting with food—especially grilling, smoking meats, fermenting, and dehydrating—and caring for the small, vibrant ecosystems he nurtured in his aquarium and terrarium. He found great enjoyment in all the details of God’s creation.

His faith in Jesus Christ was the steady foundation of his life. Benjamin was a faithful student of Scripture, and his thoughtful spirit reflected the hope he placed in his Savior.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Marjorie (Miller) Myers and Paul and Esther (Hilty) Christner, and his uncle, Philip Myers.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Faith Myers; his sister, Jennifer Garcia, and brother-in-law, Damian Garcia Herrera; his cherished niece and nephews, Rachel, Adrian, Christian, and Sebastian; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him very much.

Benjamin will be remembered for his gentle nature, his love of learning, and the trust he placed in Jesus. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A private memorial will be held with close family and friends.
