Becky Elaine Watters

Rebecca “Becky” Elaine Burns Watters, age 55, passed away at her home. Her passing leaves an untold emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Becky was the daughter of James and Nancy Burns, both who predeceased her.

She was a graduate of Perry Meridian High School, class of 1988, where she was a member of the gymnastics team.

Becky worked in the insurance industry for 20+ years, working with Larue Insurance, Allstate, Indiana Farm Bureau and others.

Becky was a truly kind-hearted and loving person. She had a fun loving and beautiful spirit, always generous, giving,and willing to open her heart and home to family and friends. Making those around her feel welcome and cared for.

She loved gardening, spending time outdoors, and cooking for friends and family. She also adored her beloved fur-babies, Looney and Levi, who brought her much happiness and companionship.

Becky will be deeply missed by her sisters, Lynette Bickers (Ed) and Denise Burns (Joe), and her brother, Dave Burns; as well as by her friends and colleagues. She will also lovingly be remembered by her nieces and nephew, Cara Lowery (Matt), Jess Winbigler, Cheyenne Schumake, and Jeremy Winbigler (Cristina); as well as her many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Becky’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care – Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
