Barbara Anne (Cox) Conway of Kokomo, IN went to Heaven on December 24, 2019 to celebrate the Lord’s birthday with Him. She was 80 years old but never looked it! She loved the Lord with all her heart and soul and couldn’t wait to get to Heaven so that she could have her own chocolate fountain and ice cream parlor and never worry about diabetes!
She was born on August 10, 1939 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elwood and Bethel Price, a sister and brother-in-law, Janice & Ray Robinson of Greentown, IN, her first husband of 49 years, Richard Cox, Sr of Kokomo, IN, her second husband of 3 years, David Conway, Jr of Bardstown KY and her son, Richard Cox, Jr of Kokomo, IN.
She worked as an administrative assistant in both healthcare and regular corporations. She loved helping people and was always there to help when help was needed with a smile on her face! She was a nurses aid at Bloomington Memorial Hospital, Bloomington, IN before she moved to California with her husband and 4 kids.
She is survived by a sister, Sandra Campbell of Lafayette, IN, her oldest daughter, Cheryl Finch of Bend, OR, her second son, Steven Cox of Texas, and her youngest daughter, Janean (Barry) Young of Noblesville, IN, multiple nieces and nephews, a step son, David Conway, III of Bardstown, KY, 2 step daughters, Missy (Anthony) Foley of KY and Lisa (Bryan) Morrow of KY and multiple step grandchildren of KY.
She also has 6 grandkids, Jessica of Kansas, Christopher of California, Michelle Cox of California, Andrew (Stephanee) Cox of Texas, Karen Cox of California and Kortni (Brandon) Raber of Greenwood, IN. as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Silas and Natalie.
