Ashton Neriah Frankville, 18 of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on September 12, 2025 in Tempe, Arizona.

Born on November 10, 2006, in Noblesville, IN, Ashton was the beloved son of Sunshine Fridy (Barnett) and Nicholas Frankville. He was a 2025 graduate of Lawrence North High School, where he formed lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. After graduation, Ashton embraced the summer with joy, spending time with friends and his girlfriend, Kiley. His goal was simple: to have the best summer ever-and he did.

Affectionately known as “The Chef,” Ashton’s passion for cooking began at just three years old. With wide-eyed wonder, he stood on a stool at a family friend’s house, learning how to make dough and waiting patiently as the bread rose. That early spark grew into a lifelong love of cooking-whether grilling with his dad or creating his signature “Ash Burger” at Mark and Jessica’s home. His creativity and love for sharing food brought joy to those around him.

Ashton is survived by his mother, Sunshine (Christopher) Fridy; his father, Nicholas Frankville; his sister Josie Frankville; his brother Kole Kelley; his canine companion Jager; and his second loving family Mark and Jessica Kelley. He is also survived by his aunt Brenda, great niece Jenny, cousins Allie and Laila, and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, close-knit friends, and the love of his life Kiley.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Hirsch; grandparents Susan and Donald Hopper, Beverly Duesterhaus, and John Frankville; great-parents Joyce Ann Barnett and Herschel Allan Barnett; great-uncle Wes; uncles Jon and David Chalfant; his aunts Pam Jakovic, and Carol Hodgenson; and his “Pops,” Dave Johnston.

Ashton’s light, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Memorial Service for Ashton will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
