Anthony “Andy” M Weaver, 68, of Fishers, Indiana died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at IU Health Saxony Hospital with his wife and youngest son present. He was born December 9, 1952, in Wabash County, Indiana. He was the son of Richard and Rheba Weaver. He was a graduate of Wabash High School. He married Hwa Son in Korea on April 9, 1985. Andy was well regarded as a loving family man who cherished exploring the world on long road trips, an ingenious mechanic who could fix absolutely anything, and an optimistic spirit who brightened the day of everyone he spoke to. He worked for the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1998. He later worked for the Department of State for 17 years, until the day of his passing. He was a member of many Korean Presbyterian Churches throughout his travels. He is survived by his wife, Hwa Son Weaver of Fishers; 3 sons, Earnest Y. Weaver, of Burke, Virginia, Alexander S. Weaver, of San Antonio, Texas, and James W. Weaver, of Fishers, Indiana; 3 grandsons, Thor S. Weaver, Klaus K. Weaver, and Killean Y. Weaver. Funeral service was held at Indiana Funeral Care, 872 W 27th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208 on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Final committal service was held at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with the United States Air Force Honor Guard present and Chaplain (Major) Kevin Pugh officiating.
