Anna Williams

Anna Jo Williams, 89, of Indianapolis, IN, entered Eternal Life with her Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven, on December 29, 2022, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Hazard, KY, on August 11, 1933, to the late Leslie Caldwell and Lutie Ellen Rudd. She married the love of her life, Otis Williams, and they were married for 40 years until his passing in 1992. Together they had two daughters, Sheila Robbin and Terri Lynne. Later in life, she married Vernon Hall and they were together for 14 years until his passing in 2017.

Anna worked at Western Electric for 31 years all while being a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed cooking, singing, attending church, traveling, and especially spending the winter months in Florida. While raising her family and working, Anna went back to school and earned her G.E.D from Franklin Central High School, something she was very proud of. Anna did not know a stranger and loved to be surrounded by friends and loved ones.

Anna loved her church and her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart and loved God's Word. She was a powerful prayer warrior, and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying had on her family and her friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her 6 siblings, Jimmie Caldwell, Buster Caldwell, Jack Caldwell, Leslie Caldwell, Jr., Ethel Bymaster, and Robert Charles Caldwell. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Robbin (Gary) McFarland and Terri Lynne (JR) Glenn; step children, Hala (Ed) Hunington and Debra Showalter; 5 grandchildren, Mendy (Chad) Haydon, Matt (Courtney) McFarland, Alec Hahn, Brandon and Kaelyn Glenn and 6 great grandchildren, Ashton, Gavin, Landon, Maya, Brynn, and Greyson.

There will be a visitation at Franklin Road Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 from 11:00am to 2:00pm, with the funeral service to start at 2:00pm. Burial will take place following the service at Acton Cemetery.
