Anna "Delores" Bow, a beloved member of the Indianapolis community, passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 64. She was born on January 31, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Benton and Catherine Bow.
Delores was a graduate of Howe High School. She dedicated over 20 years to the Marion County Health Department, where she worked diligently in vital records. Her commitment to her career was a testament to her caring nature and her dedication to serving others. She was known for her warm personality, always appreciative of the little things that life offered. Above all, she cherished her family, relishing the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Delores also had a passion for hobbies that included crocheting, gardening, cooking, and various crafts.
She is survived by her daughters Angie Bow, Holly Bow, and Jennifer Andersen, and her numerous grandchildren: Aaron, Brayden, Cameron, London, Jordan, Alexa, and Michael, as well as her great-grandchildren Vivienne and Garrett. She is also survived by her brother, Dennie (Belinda) Bow and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Benton Bow, her mother Catherine Bow, and her two brothers, David Neil Bow and Anthony "Dale" Bow.
A visitation will be held on March 5, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service starting at 2:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care East (formerly Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary) located at 1307 N. Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
Delores Bow leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and dedication that will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
