Amy Jennifer Kerrick, 64 of Westfield, IN. passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Amy was born to the late Kenneth Harland Underwood and Agnes Mary Underwood on January 29, 1960, in Flint, MI.

Amy attended Mott College and Purdue University.  Amy worked at the Indiana Committee for the Humanities and the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce, before working the last 27 years at the Indianapolis Zoological Society as an executive assistant. One of Amy’s proudest moments was being able to work on the Indianapolis Prize. She was also a President of Executive Women International in 1992.

Amy married Ken Kerrick on June 30, 1984. Her all-time favorite movie was Moonstruck, she loved all the family dynamics. Amy’s interests include shopping, cooking and looking at new recipes, going to the farmer’s market and enjoying all the fresh fruits in the summer, cross stitch, traveling, trips to her sister Nancy’s house, weekends in downtown Chicago and making friends. She especially loved playing with her dogs, Toby, Carly, Betty and Barney.

Amy is survived by her husband; Ken Kerrick, stepchildren; Christopher (Bailey), Nathan, step grandchild; Lawson, siblings; Susan (Dale) Ausherman, Deborah Underwood, Diane Hearn, Nancy (Mike) Kreutzjans, Kenneth (Mary) Underwood, and Barbara (Mick) Faulman.

Amy is preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth and Agnes Underwood and her sister; Molly Underwood.

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Grace Church 5504 E 146th St, Noblesville, IN 46062, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, with services starting at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to the Indianapolis Zoological Society in Amy’s name.
