Amie Lee Hanson passed away on October 22, 2024, at Life's Journey Hospice center in Avon, IN, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on April 14, 1968, in Danville, IN, Amie dedicated 28 years of her life to the healthcare industry in Hendricks County as a devoted medical assistant. Her most recent role was at Avon Family Health - Hendricks Regional Health, where she touched countless lives with her compassionate care. Amie graduated from Tri-West High School in 1986.
Amie was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her boundless kindness and unwavering support for those around her. Her selfless nature and infectious smile brought light and joy into the lives of all who knew her.
Amie is survived by her husband, John Hanson; son, Joshua (Fiance, Andria) Trapp; daughter, Mandy (Fiance, Megan) Trapp; grandchildren, Kayleigh Trapp, Olivia Rinsch, Alycia and Kairi Mcgillem. She also leaves behind her sister, Beth (Don) Cummins; and nephew, Scott Cummins. Amie will always be remembered for her immense heart and the love she shared with her family.
In honor of Amie's memory, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the COPD Foundation. They also invite all to perform random acts of kindness and pay it forward, embodying Amie's spirit of generosity and compassion.
Amie was preceded in death by her parents Terry and Elaine Wynkoop and her first husband, Rodney Trapp.
