Amayah Mahaila Cabarris

Amayah “MayahBoo” Mahaila Cabarris, 13, of northwest side of Indianapolis, In, passed away on August 31,2023.

Amayah was born on January 8^th, 2010, to Kay Washington & Willie Cabarris in Indianapolis, In. Amayah attended Westlane Middle School for 8th grade and was passionate about Robotics, being on Honor Roll, AP Math, and College Mentors.

Amayah Enjoyed Dancing, Singing, Playing Games(cardboard), Exploring Nature, Helping Take Care of Everyone Around, Amayah Was Satisfied by the Smaller Things in Life, Like Being Around Loved Ones, Lightening Your Load, and Making You Smile! Amayah was not Fond of dishonest People, people who played both sides, and Anyone Who Tried Her Sisters or Family, She Didn’t Like people in her Personal Space or Disturbing Her Peace & Killing Her Vibe!  

Amayah Was Very Active & Outgoing. She Enjoyed Going on Adventures, Being with Those She Loved, Soaking Up Sunlight, & Making New Memories! If She Wasn’t Outside, You Could Find Her Making Choreographed Dance Videos, Reading, or Listening to Music. Amayah Was SUPER-SELFLESS (even after her diagnosis), She Was A Lover & a Giver; She Was a Protector & Provider.  

Amayah Wasn’t Disappointed by Much, Except Being Let Down by Her Loved Ones & When Someone Doesn’t Put Forth the Effort to Be the BEST Version of Themselves. Unusually Wise Beyond Her Years, Super-Funny, and A Whole Vibe, She Felt Like Home! The Coolest Kid Ever – Effortlessly  

Amayah’s memory will forever be cherished by Parents Willie Cabarris (Father) Kathryn Washington (Mother); Grandparents Paternal (Sheila Cabarris) (David Eugene Floyd Jr); Great Grandparents (Marvious Cabarris) (Arlene Williams); Grandparents Maternal Steve and Eileen Washington; Siblings: Lilianna Cabarris, Leilani Cabarris; and a host of Aunts, Great Aunts, Uncles, Great Uncles, and cousins.
