Alice joins in death her beloved husband; Edward Martin of Bloomington, parents; Mildred Mae Butler Shields and James H. Shields Sr, three brothers; James H. Shields Jr., Lester Alven Shields, Iowa, Jerry Shields, Texas, three sisters; Mary Jane Shields, Marie Mae Butler Kirk, Loretta Mae (Shields) Felts.
Alice is survived by one brother; Earl Shields, three children; Lavern E. Means, Brazil, Gweneth A. (Hochstetler) O’Neal, Spencer, Connie R. (Halfhill) Farmer. Seven grandchildren; Shane B Hochstetler, FLA, Brenda (Means) Alsup, ShayLea Hochstetler, Spencer, Jackie Means, Julie (Means) Neeley, Brazil, Bryan Farmer, Spencer, Angela R (Farmer) Marcum, Bloomfield. Nine great-grandchildren; McKayla Hochstetler-Rawley, Jarod Ludwig, JR Means, Tiffney Means, Logan Farmer, Elijah Farmer, Brooke Gehle, Spencer, Billy Gehle, Spencer, Heather Smith, Brazil, three great great grandchildren; Jachen Clifford Hochstetler-Rawley, Spencer, Lindsey Smith, Brazil, Amy Smith, Brazil.
Alice liked to work in her flowers, made porcelain and ceramic dolls, and camping. She went to New Life Christian Church. She retired from MCL Cafeteria in Bloomington.
