Alice Mae Naue, 99, of Indianapolis passed away on June 2, 2021. She was born on August 13, 1921, to Howard and Ruth (Shortridge) Frankhouse and was a descendant of Abram Shortridge, for whom the high school is named.
Alice was a quiet woman who enjoyed quilting, bingo, and casino visits. She had worked as a printer and has a proofreader in retirement.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward Naue, son, James Naue, and sister, Ruth Pollard. She is survived by her son, Alan (Jo Ann) Naue, and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Service will be at 12pm on Monday, June 7th at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 E. Main St. Greenwood, IN 46143 with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Washington Park East to follow.
