Adrian Scott Aurs

Adrian Scott Aurs, affectionately known as “Hollywood,” age 52, passed away on August 26, 2026, at Community Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Scott was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and went on to earn an associate degree from Indiana University. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy and later dedicated 18 years of service to the Indianapolis Police Department.

Scott was a transplant recipient, and in keeping with his wishes, he became an organ donor, giving the gift of life to others.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother, Edwin Larry Aurs Jr. 

Scott is survived by his parents, Larry and Sandra Aurs; his three children, Jayden, Zandyr, and Molly; his brothers, Tim Aurs (Kim) and Brian Aurs (Rachael); his sister, Terry Harp; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

In accordance with Scott’s wishes, cremation will take place, and he will later be laid to rest at sea. No services will be held.
