Victoria Louise (Ford) Haley passed away peacefully on February 4, 2020, in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 65 from a rare form of radiation-induced sarcoma. Vickie was born on May 22, 1954, to Henry O. Ford and Mary Lou Ford in Kent, Ohio. Vickie graduated from Stow High School in 1972 where she developed a passion for journalism and enjoyed her time as an exchange student in Germany. She attended Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana, where she was an award-winning student while pursuing a double major in Journalism and Political Science and an active participant in the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She graduated in 1975 as the Top Scholar. Vickie later went on to receive her Master’s in Business Administration and Finance from Butler University in 1980.

Vickie was a devoted Episcopalian and was strongly guided by her faith throughout her life. She was involved in her local Episcopalian church with her husband Gary, serving in multiple roles, but especially enjoyed her role on the altar guild. Professionally, Vickie devoted her career to serving as a business manager for oncology and radiology offices in Indianapolis, Indiana; Casper, Wyoming; and Cincinnati, Ohio. She concluded her career as a Reimbursement Specialist for Xcenda covering most of the eastern United States. After retiring, she became an active community volunteer including her membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution. Throughout her life, Vickie served in many roles, but her most cherished role was that of being a mother to her five children and a beloved grandmother to her seven grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gary Haley; sister Edith Ford Gosnell; five children, Timothy Haley (Kären), Gwendolen Haley-Morris (Eric), Trevor Haley (Elizabeth), Alexander Haley, and Carrah Trimble (Iain); and seven grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
