Tammy Kay Chester

Tammy Kay Chester devoted mother, loving sister, aunt, guardian, best friend and wife. Born January 19, 1968 To Thomas Eugene and Leona Phillips (McIntyre) in Kentucky. Tammy married Anthony Clay Chester in Covington Kentucky on January 18, 1991 and had 2 children Robert J. McIntyre and Amber E. Wright (McIntyre).

She is survived by her husband Anthony Chester, her son Robert McIntyre (wife Lia Malone), her daughter Amber Wright (McIntyre) husband Christopher Wright Her best friends Cynthia Kaye Barton and Thia Cole. She had 5 siblings Karen Mobley, Thomas McIntyre, Ricky McIntyre, Gidget Ann Morris and Richie Morris and many nieces and nephews.

Tammy worked at New Venture Gear in the city of Muncie. She was known for her infinite love of animals. If it was lost, she found it. If it was hungry, she fed it. She rescued many and gave them a second chance and a good home. She lived blessed by the family she wanted she will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Leona and her loving sister Gidget Ann.

Visitation will be from 1pm - 3pm on Wednesday, July 28. 2021 at Southside Church of God, 101 E. 22nd Street, Muncie, Indiana 47302. Funeral service begins at 3pm.
