Geraldine was born on July 1, 1934 to the late Robert and Lula Washam.
Geraldine enjoyed traveling, painting ceramics, and watching Days of our Lives and Counting on, but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family.
Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Jessica Strait; granddaughter, Darcus Gentry; great-grandchildren, Darah, Baily, and Brandon; and great great-grandchildren, Riley, Briar, Lakelyn, Hadley, and Waylon.
Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Jesse Whitsit; daughter, Betty Whitsit and her grandson, Brandon Whitsit.
