Duane Scifres

Duane “Bud” MacDonald Scifres passed away September 27, 2019 at age 95. He was a loving husband for 71 years to the late Mary Belle Montgomery. A World War II veteran, Duane attended Arsenal Technical High School where he learned his trade of master welder and innovator. He was a wonderful father to eight children, 18 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss him greatly. Despite the challenges of raising a large family, Duane and Mary's genuine love and affection grew stronger over the years. The devotion shown during their golden years created a legacy of affection, loyalty and commitment that their family will cherish forever.

He is survived by son Sam (Cindy) Scifres, son Kim (Chantal) Scifres, daughter Marguerite (Stephen) Leach, daughter Roxanne (Robert) Loomis, son Bruce (Jackie) Scifres, daughter Rebecca Scifres, daughter Bonita (Jim) Dobbs, daughter Jenny (John King) Scifres.
