Dennis Salazar

Dennis Salazar Jr., known as Sal by family and friends passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 3, 2020 with family by his side. Sal was born November 16, 1933 to Dionisio Salazar Ruiz and Antonia Flora Salazar. He grew up in Mobile, AL relocating to Indianapolis in 1955 where he married, raised a family, owned and operated several businesses. He retired with his wife to Lake Cumberland in Russell Springs, Kentucky where he lived for over 25 years.

Sal is survived by his Wife, Barbara Ann Salazar, his sons, Michael Richard Salazar and wife, Teresa Salazar, Anthony Joseph Salazar, Dennis Salazar III and wife Teri Salazar, his siblings Anita Toole, Flora Gilbert, Bobby Salazar, LaNeil Moody, Susanna Stringfellow, Eva Reynolds, Linda Taylor, Jackie Bell, Denise Ruanovo, Dionisio Salazar Wolfe, his grandchildren, Brooke Salazar, Amanda Salazar, Emily Latusek, Elizabeth Lynn, Nicholas Salazar and Eric Salazar. He was loved and will be missed by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Sal's life will be held at VisonLoft in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 22, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm. The service includes a virtual attendance option.
