Charlotte Ann Hopper

Charlotte Ann Hopper, age 85, of Greenwood, Indiana passed at 10:42 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Greenwood Meadows. She was born to the late William and Doris (Curry) Hayse on May 23, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Charlotte was in home décor sales and driven by cosmetology. Charlotte loved music, dancing, reading, fine dining, and was an excellent cook. Charlotte always looked forward to what we were going to be cooking for the holiday, that was approaching. Charlotte was a woman that believed that food should be SUPERB!

Charlotte is survived by her loving daughter, Fara Lechner and her husband Bob of Indianapolis, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Tina, Jennifer, Stephanie, and three grandchildren out of state in Connecticut. Charlotte was also a great-grandmother to Elijiah, along with eight other great-grandchildren. When Charlotte became a grandmother for the first time, she made it perfectly clear from that point on, she would be known as "Nanny".

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 with Pastor Mark Petty officiating at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
