Brenda M. Swank, 71, of Carmel, passed away on March 27, 2020, at her daughter’s house in Westfield, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born January 11, 1949 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis; the daughter of James and Marie (Mallicoat) Weaver.
She worked many years doing Medical Billing.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Swank, Sr of Carmel; one daughter, Sherri Gillespie of Westfield; one grandchild, Jamie Lee (Danielle) Gillespie of Westfield; 5 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Jane Newman of Greenwood and Linda Walker; and 5 step-children, Regina Walker, Bill Swank Jr., Jerry Swank, Sabre Swank, and Jeff Swank; and 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Marie Weaver of Greenwood; Donnie Swank of California; and Jason Walker of Indianapolis.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
