Brenda Faye Broome

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Brenda Faye Broome (Allen),78, of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 in her home. She was born on January 27, 1943 in Benedict, Virginia to Ed and Clara Allen.

Brenda was a waitress for many years at Fireside South and then eventually retired from Kroger. She is survived by her daughters Janice (Mark) West and Shawn Brooks; 6 grandkids and several great-grandkids.

Brenda loved to spend time with her friends and family. She also enjoyed going to the casino and watching Wheel of Fortune.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ed and Clara Allen; her first husband, Jerry Brooks; her second husband, Rex Broome; as well as several siblings.

Services will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel on March 19, 2021. Visitation from 11am-2pm. Funeral service will begin a 2pm with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens..
