Alice Vaughn

Alice Vaughn was born in Gary, Indiana on August 20, 1942 to the late Lillie Mae Barber Vaughn and Clifford James Vaughn. She entered Heaven’s gates on October 11, 2019.

At an early age, Alice accepted her belief in the Lord and was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church. She later united with New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Pastor’s Care Ministry until her relocation to Indianapolis, Indiana.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter Michele Vaughn; sons Michael Vaughn, Marcus (Lynette)Vaughn, and honorary son Josiah (Marilyn) Jones; precious grandchildren Brittnee Vaughn, Marcus Jr. (Danielle) Vaughn, Dominique Vaughn, Dontrell Vaughn, Jayvon Vaughn, Diamond Lindsey, and JaNya Mobley; 3 greatgrandchildren Jahkeem, Za’Marihe, and Jyheir and a host of extended family members and friends.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother and adored time spent with family.
